Beba Tata, MDiv, MS, BCC (Cohort 1)

Beba achieved a degree in Environmental Management and went on to counsel HIVIAIDS patients in Cameroun before travelling to the United States in 2009.

Beba earned her MDiv at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California and a Master of Patient Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Beba completed CPE residencies from St. Elizabeth Psychiatric Hospital in Washington, DC and at VCU. Beba is currently a chaplain at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. While earning her MPH in Community Health Promotion at the University of Minnesota, Beba is exploring the role of interdisciplinary teams in providing care to patients in crises and nurses’ coping with distress.
