She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Union Theological Seminary in New York City, and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. She is also completing a PhD in Religion at Princeton University. Beth is a staff member at the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education in Decatur, GA, and works remotely from her home in Lawrenceville, NJ, where she lives with her 11-year-old daughter.
